Stephen Hughes

Solicitor

Stephen qualified in 1994 after finishing his articles with a West End firm, where he became a Partner. Following that firm’s relocation, Stephen decided to return to the West End and joined a boutique music firm in Mayfair.

Throughout his legal career, Stephen has undertaken a wide range of work; including general litigation, copyright and trademark disputes, contested probate, personal injury and family matters. Stephen has also developed a strong conveyancing practice, having acted for high net worth clients on residential sales and purchases and developers, companies and investors on complex commercial transactions. Prior to joining Lorrells Stephen spent five years acting for a prominent commercial lender.

Although primarily concentrating on commercial property transactions, Stephen continues to act on selective litigation matters.

Stephen's diversity (he was a qualified mechanical engineer before becoming a solicitor) is a major asset when assessing the issues and advising clients on the best course of action available to them. Stephen prides himself on being able to focus on the client's requirements and takes a pragmatic approach when setting out to achieve what the client wants.
